Garden room on wheels

We were approached by Atom Architecture to assist with the production of a Garden Room on Wheel for a site in Rhossili on the Gower. They wanted a well-insulated structure to be built onto an existing trailer which allows the structure to be relocated around the farm as required.

The sole plate is bolted onto the trailer bed with walls made from 119mm SIPs panels and the floor and roof being 144mm SIPs panels ensuring a well-insulated and warm environment inside at any time of year. The building will house a lounge and bed area along with a toilet and kitchen. A modern twist on the traditional Shepard’s hut or Cwt Bugail as we say in Wales.
